The Iranian film Blue Land, directed by Ali FakhrMousavi, has been honored with two prizes at international film festivals in the United States and India.

At the Silver State Film Festival in the U.S., Blue Land received the award for Best International Film.

Additionally, this Iran–Czech co-production was awarded the Best Screenplay prize at the Global International Film Festival Mumbai in India.

The film tells the story of an Iranian doctor who, weary of life’s challenges, travels from a bustling city to a border village seeking rest and recovery. In the village, events unfold that force him to confront mysteries from the past.
