Iranian Filmmaker to Judge at the FOLCS International Short Film Festival (USA)
Tehran – IRNA – Iranian filmmaker Ali FakhrMousavi has been selected as a judge for the 9th edition of the International Short Film Festival of the Forum on Life, Culture & Society (FOLCS) in the United States.
According to IRNA’s cinema desk, Ali FakhrMousavi, an Iranian filmmaker based in the Czech Republic who has previously directed the two feature films Autumn Memories and Blue Land, has been chosen as the first Iranian judge in the main section of the FOLCS International Festival in the U.S.
The FOLCS festival—known as the Forum on Life, Culture & Society in the United States—is held annually with the participation of the New York Film Academy and brings independent films from around the world into competition on themes of law, social justice, and human rights.
The 9th edition of the FOLCS International Festival will be held in New York from April 7 to 13, 2022 (18–24 Farvardin 1401).
